Mark Twain-Inspired Southern Sunday Brunch
Sunday, June 21, 2026
12:30 PM | CW Bistro at Pier 57
When Mark Twain traveled the world, he found himself longing for the comfort of Southern American Cuisine. In his travelogue, A Tramp Abroad, he creates a lengthy rundown of everything he wanted to eat as soon as he returned to the states. Today’s meal takes inspiration from that list. During your meal, please enjoy remarks by writer, director, and former Director of Music at Shakespeare’s Globe, Bill Barclay. His new show, Copland & Twain- produced by Concert Theatre Works- will be presented at this season’s Festival. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes conversation between Barclay and Festival Artistic Directors Melinda Lee Masur & Ken-David Masur as well as some virtuosic fiddling by three featured Festival violinists!
Violin | Yuyu Ikeda, Carlos Rafael Martinez Arroyo
