Ticketing (3-4)

Objectives: by the end of the Festival, interns should be able to

  • Track ticket purchases and attendance at events

  • Determine possible causes of low ticket sales and collaborate with PR and Marketing team to increase sales

  • Manage pre-concert guest flow

  • Create assessment of tickets sold v. actual attendance

Duties: over the course of the Festival, interns will

  • Track numbers of ticket purchases for each event

  • Collaborate with PR team to identify and promote under-performing events on social media

  • Welcome and check in guests at each performance

  • Answer guest questions at check-in, process at-door ticket purchases, and direct guests at intermission and during receptions

  • Perform ushering duties if needed

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  the ideal intern candidate possesses

  • Knowledge of EventBrite and EventBrite Organizer

  • Skill in communicating clearly and in a timely manner with patrons and team members

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Ability to be flexible, show initiative, and can problem-solve

  • Willingness to work late nights if needed
