Operations/Transportation

Objectives: by the end of the Festival, Operations interns should be able to

  • Plan, execute, and manage multiple, concurrent logistical needs of CMF team and artists

  • Arrange safe and efficient transportation of Festival team members, artists, and equipment

  • Strategize over the best use of

Duties: during the course of the Festival, interns will

  • Plan transportation timetables for equipment and team members between venues

  • Collaborate with Production and Hospitality teams on transportation and logistics needs

  • Pick up and drop off artists and CMF team members at airports, housing, and event venues

  • Move, load, and transport musical instruments, audio, film, and lighting equipment to and from event locations

  • Assist with Stage crew during performances, if needed

  • Pick up and unload ingredients and equipment for receptions

  • Clean and maintain Festival’s official vehicles

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  the ideal intern candidate possesses

  • Management experience preferred

  • Knowledge of handling various equipment, including sensitive audio and video equipment and musical instruments

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Ability to lift and carry 20+ pounds

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment under time-sensitive deadlines

  • Willingness to work late nights and long days if needed
