This finissage for the NYC stop of BTHVN on Tour marks the final evening New York audiences can tour the exhibit as well as experience Beethoven’s piano, on view in North America for the first time. The program features music by two of the most important musical descendants of Beethoven, Clara and Robert Schumann, as well as Liliya Ugay’s 2019 Festival Commission entitled Scenes from Motherhood, inspired both by Robert Schumann’s iconic Scenes from Childhood and Ugay recently becoming a new mother.
